About Me

I live in Palm Beach County & teach at a local public high school. I began teaching English & Intensive Reading August 2013 after leaving my job as a Juvenile Probation Officer. I have a B.A. in Criminal Justice, a B.S. in Psychology, & just graduated with my MPA. I never in a million years thought I would be teaching high school or teaching at all nevertheless sharing tips on classroom organization, daily routines, and classroom instruction.

I enjoy shopping, reading, & cooking. I have an unhealthy obsession with Target, HGTV, & The Food Network. I own more dresses than any human probably should. I am definitely an over-achiever and love to surpass the expectations of anyone I come into contact with, including myself. I have a hard time using the word "no" & tend to bite off more than I can chew.

I love to travel & have made it my 2014 New Years Resolution to travel once a month. This year I have been to Arizona, New York (three times), Washington D.C., Maryland, Boston, Orlando, Key West, Belize, & Cancun. I love learning new things, especially about United States history.

My End of School Resolution for the 2104-2015 school year was to be more organized, align with CCSS, use more creativity in lessons, & participate more.
